West-East Project Will Sent Superior Gas to Xiamen

West-East Gas Project Line Three is being pushed and will provide high-quality and stable double gas supply system to Xiamen. It is heard from Xiamen Municipal Development and Reform Commission that Xiamen has completed 3.4 billion yuan of investment for key projects such as ecology, environmental protection, energy and other areas from January to August, which is 78% of the annual plan.
 
A responsible person of Municipal Development and Reform Commission said, “To implement the ecological civilization construction and jointly promote the "Beautiful Xiamen" construction, among all 238 projects, Xiamen arranges 27 key projects in ecological construction, environmental protection and energy conservation fields, which are viewed as priority services.
 
Four ecological construction projects including Xiangshan Landscape Improvement, Sea Dredging Renovation, Yundang Lake Basin Rehabilitation and Gaodian Water Plant Expansion have exceeded investment. The Sea Dredging Renovation Project has completed an investment of 1.3 billion yuan this year, total 5.9 billion yuan, which is now under dredging promotion. Yundang Lake Basin Rehabilitation Project, with total investment of 0.33 billion yuan, has basically completed dredging interception of northern and southern main drainage channel and electromechanical engineering.
 
In the aspect of energy-saving and new energy projects, West-East Gas Project Line Three is expected to be completed before the end of this year under the efforts of Jimei, Haicang and Tongan districts. Meanwhile, Huadian Distributed Energy is accelerating the heating pipeline construction and equipment installation and construction. In addition, a number of key preparatory projects in ecological, environmental protection, energy conservation and new energy fields are under preparatory work.
