As a common valve type in our daily industrial production, the
high temperature butterfly valve has received the most attention in industrial production. High temperature
butterfly valves are usually used in high temperature and high pressure environment, and have the following advantages:
High temperature butterfly valves have these advantages:
1. opening and closing is convenient, quick, labor-saving, low in fluid resistance, and can be operated frequently.
2. With simple structure, small size, short length, small volume and light weight, which is suitable for large-diameter valves
3. The mud can be transported, and the liquid accumulated in the pipeline mouth is the least.
4. Good sealing can be achieved under low pressure.
5. Good adjustment performance
6. When fully open, the effective flow area of the valve seat channel is large and the fluid resistance is small.
7. The opening and closing torque is small, because the butterfly plates on both sides of the rotating shaft are basically equally acted by the medium, and the directions of torque generation are opposite, so the opening and closing is labor-saving.
8. The sealing surface materials are generally rubber and plastic, so the low-pressure sealing performance is good.

Although the
high temperature butterfly valve has these advantages, it has the following two disadvantages:
1. the operating pressure and working temperature range are small.
2. Poor sealing performance
Although there are some defects of
high-temperature butterfly valves, it can be reasonably avoided according to different using environments. Thus, it is widely used.
